1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering on SocietyOS, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this platform.

2. Service Description
SocietyOS is a cloud-based residential society management platform provided by Felevare Global Ventures LLP. The platform includes member management, billing, maintenance tracking, and related services.

3. Subscription & Payments
• Subscription fees are as per the selected plan (Basic, Standard, Premium).
• All prices are exclusive of GST (18%) unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are non-refundable once the subscription period has commenced.
• Felevare Global Ventures LLP reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice.

4. User Responsibilities
• You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must ensure all data entered is accurate and lawful.
• Sharing login credentials with unauthorized persons is strictly prohibited.
• You must not use the platform for any illegal, fraudulent or harmful activities.

5. Data Ownership
• All society data entered remains the property of the respective society.
• Felevare Global Ventures LLP does not claim ownership of your society's data.
• Upon termination, data export will be available for 30 days.

6. Service Availability
• We aim for 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• Scheduled maintenance will be notified in advance where possible.
• We are not liable for losses due to service interruptions.

7. Termination
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts found violating these terms.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues till period end.
• Upon cancellation, data will be retained for 90 days before deletion.

8. Intellectual Property
All software, design, branding and content of SocietyOS is the intellectual property of Felevare Global Ventures LLP. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

SocietyOS — Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
• Society details: name, address, registration number.
• Admin details: name, email, mobile number.
• Member details: name, flat, contact, Aadhaar (optional).
• Financial data: maintenance dues, invoices, payments.
• Usage data: login times, actions performed (audit log).

2. How We Use Your Information
• To provide and operate the SocietyOS platform.
• To send OTP for secure login authentication.
• To send invoices and notices via WhatsApp/Email (initiated by admin).
• To improve our services and platform features.
• We do NOT sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing.

3. Data Storage & Security
• All data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with SSL encryption.
• Row Level Security (RLS) ensures each society sees only their own data.
• Passwords are stored with hashing. We recommend changing default passwords.
• Regular backups are maintained to prevent data loss.

4. Data Access
• Only authorized admins of your society can access your society's data.
• Felevare Global Ventures LLP may access data only for support/maintenance with your consent.
• Master Admin (Felevare) has platform-level access for operational purposes only.

5. Cookies & Tracking
SocietyOS does not use tracking cookies. Session data is stored locally in your browser for login purposes only.

6. Third Party Services
• Supabase: Database hosting (GDPR compliant).
• Razorpay: Payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant).
• 2Factor.in: OTP SMS delivery.
• WhatsApp: Message delivery via wa.me links.
Each third party has their own privacy policy.

7. Data Retention
• Active subscription: Data retained indefinitely.
• After cancellation: Data retained for 90 days, then deleted.
• You may request data deletion at any time by contacting us.

8. Your Rights
Under applicable laws, you have the right to access, correct, port or delete your personal data. Contact us at felevareglobal@gmail.com

9. Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this policy. Continued use after changes implies acceptance.

SocietyOS — Disclaimer

1. General Disclaimer
SocietyOS is a software management tool designed to assist housing societies in their day-to-day operations. It is NOT a substitute for professional legal, financial or accounting advice.

2. Financial Records
• Invoices, accounts and financial reports generated by SocietyOS are for internal management purposes only.
• These records should be verified and certified by a qualified accountant before use for official, legal or statutory purposes.
• Felevare Global Ventures LLP is not responsible for any financial decisions made based on data in the platform.

3. Statutory Compliance
• Statutory registers maintained via SocietyOS should be verified against applicable CHS Act, MCS Act or other relevant legislation.
• It is the responsibility of the society committee to ensure compliance with local laws.
• SocietyOS does not guarantee legal compliance of records maintained through the platform.

4. Accuracy of Data
• The platform is only as accurate as the data entered by your society admins.
• Felevare Global Ventures LLP is not responsible for errors arising from incorrect data entry.
• Regular data verification is recommended.

5. Service Limitations
• SocietyOS is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service.
• In no event shall Felevare Global Ventures LLP be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

6. WhatsApp & Email Communications
All WhatsApp messages and emails sent through SocietyOS are initiated by society admins. Felevare Global Ventures LLP is not responsible for the content of such communications.

7. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Razorpay. Felevare Global Ventures LLP is not responsible for payment failures, delays or disputes with Razorpay.

8. Limitation of Liability
The maximum liability of Felevare Global Ventures LLP for any claim arising from use of SocietyOS shall be limited to the subscription fees paid by the society in the preceding 3 months.
